One more thing: Ryan and I are headed up to the capital city this weekend. We will be attending a gala event/fundraiser on Friday night along with some other friends from Osh. AND we should be able to watch the Michigan v. Michigan State game on television on Saturday night! It'll start at 10pm our time and there is one bar in Bishkek that plays the Armed Forces Network. Ryan says the game should be shown live on that Network so we're all a-tizzy. Will be great to see a Michigan football game again. Go Blue!
We honestly don't travel out of Osh that often. But randomly we also spent last weekend in Bishkek. Ryan's work held a joint conference thing that lasted until Friday. We made the most of it. I flew up and we had some f.u.n. Here is a photo of us from last weekend at the main square in Bishkek. We were relaxing at the foot of a monument and watching people, soaking up some Vitamin D. Good times!
