"To accompany a child by hand while walking on the street just once?"

Had my weekly Russian lesson today. My head is still spinning from re-learning differences in verbs of motion: to fly, to run, to walk, to drive...  All these verbs are also split amongst unidirectional (you going to your destination in a straight line?) vs. multidirectional (roundtrip?), plus perfective (I already did it! or I definitely will do this tomorrow!) or  imperfective (I take this route all the time!). Not to mention prefixes (exiting, near, approaching your destination, etc.) and, wait for it... if you're carrying something while in motion.

This is my third lesson on the same subject, 1.5 hours each. Today I read a story and in response drew little pictures to demonstrate what I understood. Horrible. Kind of funny though. And I'm sure I had these same lessons during Peace Corps when I had a tutor then. My memory and cognitive ability with respect to languages are both shockingly poopy.
